It's been a bit of a bumper month for WoSland, chums. Records have been tumbling left, right and centre – August saw the site break 100,000 page views (by some distance) in a single month for the first time, get over 50,000 unique visitors for the first time, and (not unrelatedly) have a single post notch up over 50,000 hits for the first time.

(And all this despite my idiot web hosts actually taking the site down for over 24 hours at its peak for being too popular. "Unlimited bandwith" my cock.)

Which seems as timely a moment as any to move on.

WoSblog was surprised to wake up this morning and discover that it's now apparently the 11th most influential gaming blog in the United Kingdom and Ireland, MERCILESSLY CRUSHING UNTO DUST all those useless idiots at Middle East Gamers, Digital Tools and (er) Sketchtasticness.

We have no idea what to make of this information, except that we're heading straight over to Rock Paper Shotgun's house (which is conveniently just along the road) to mock them over the irrelevance of their piddly 1.2m readers.

The latest ABC circulation figures for videogames mags are out, and there are few surprises in the largely-depressing list of numbers.

I think my Formspring page has run its course, so before I shut it down I might as well round up the last of the vaguely interesting questions it raised.
